An extended biography, ‘CHASER 2 – On a Journey of Inspiration’ is currently being written and is expected to be launched by December 2025. This sequel will highlight the success stories of some of his mentees who have achieved early milestones under his guidance. This multi-starrer project is being planned to become web series on OTT platforms.
Pride of Hyderabad
Dr. R. Hafeez Basha was felicitated at T‑Hub on 21st August 2024 during ‘Pride of Hyderabad Leadership Awards,’ held in alignment with World Entrepreneurs’ Day, where he served as a jury member for United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG‑9) i.e. Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure in presence of Telangana ecosystem leaders like Shri Mahankali Srinivas Rao (CEO, T‑Hub), Ms. Sita Pallacholla (CEO, WE‑Hub), and Shri Joginder Tanikella (CEO, T‑Works). It was organized by Gurtimpu Foundation with support from Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communication (ITE&C), Department of Culture and Tourism, and Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC).
Academic Accolades
Dr. Hafeez Basha has a distinguished record of accomplishments, from winning every paper presentation competition during his bachelor’s to receiving the ‘Young Scientist Award’ during his master’s. He was awarded the prestigious ‘Monbukagakusho Scholarship’ by the Japanese Government to pursue a Ph. D. at Kumamoto University, Japan, where he was further honored with the ‘Dean’s Award for Research Excellence’ at convocation. Upon returning to India, he was invited by the esteemed Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to contribute to the preparation of Civil Services Examination question papers, particularly for the prelims.
Young Scientist Award
In 2010, while pursuing his Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Dr. R. Hafeez Basha was honored with the prestigious Young Scientist Award by the Honourable Minister Hasan Miyalal Mushrif.
Monbukagakusho Scholarship
He was selected for the prestigious Monbukagakusho Scholarship by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology (MEXT), Government of Japan, to pursue his Ph.D. at the Graduate School of Science and Technology (GSST), Kumamoto University, Japan.
Dean’s Award for Research Excellence
He also received the Dean’s Award for Research Excellence during his convocation. The award, presented by then Dean of GSST Prof. Jun Otani, recognized his outstanding contributions, including the highest number of journal publications and conference presentations.

Guiding the Next Generation: Impacting Skill Development, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Across Key National Programs
Dr. Hafeez Basha started as a Mentor of Change at the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog), mentoring students at Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) in high schools. He later became an Empanelled Mentor at the Atal Incubation Centres (AICs). Expanding his mentorship, he served at the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) under the office of the Development Commissioner, Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME). Additionally at the Ministry of Education, he was a Member of National Rural Entrepreneurship Mission at the Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Nodal Officer for Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, KAPILA and VIDYANJALI schemes, Advisor at the National Educational Alliance for Technology (NEAT), an initiative by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). He further contributed as an Institute Management Committee Member at the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Hyderabad, and Coordinator at the National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India.
